This surface will accept the standard wet-erase markers that gamers have grown accustomed to using. Also, if you do draw on it with dry-erase or even permanent marker, it can be cleaned off without damaging the map! Simply use some Expo Dry Erase Board Cleaner or similar product, available at your local office supply store. The new laminated coating described above has been in production since around 10/08.
