This is a truly composite piece. The cube itself is cast in a low-temperature translucent plastic, while it sits on a pewter base, complete with a half-dissolved rat trying vainly to escape its fate. Suspended inside the cube is another victim being slowly dissolved: the remains of this human warrior are cast in pewter.

The cleaners of the dungeons, the Gelatinous Cube has long been a sentimental favorite of players and GM’s alike. But this good old monster has existed only in the imagination, never on the battlemap. I could not let this stand, and so I have created my own Gelatinous Cube Mini! This excellent figure sits on a 2″ square base, making it perfect to represent a hallway-spanning 10′ x 10′ Gelatinous Cube on your role-playing battle matt!

Due to the nature of its construction and the casting process involved, the Gelatinous Cube is only available in its finished painted and assembled state. The base has been sprayed with fixative to ensure the paint stays with him during play. I know he’s a little pricey, but hey, he’s hand-made! Cut him a little slack!
